I am putting together and moderating a Monday, April 7 panel of brave and amazing autistic adults for Autism Acceptance Month, with thanks to Director Kelly Crosbie and her team at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Recovery Services.
This panel is less about advocacy and more about sharing personal perspectives and experiences from being an adult autistic human being. The incredible panelists—Courtney Johnson, Jade McWilliams, Gerald Parrish, and Jackie Pilgrim—bring unique perspectives and are a diverse group.
