Earlier this week I recorded a podcast with Melanie Vann for Springbrook’s Converge Autism Radio. It posted today. The podcast title is taken from my recent blog post, Autism Adulthood: Caring for the Future and the Present Moment, which the generous interviewer, Melanie, had just read when we had the conversation. However lovely that title is, though—and I obviously liked it for the article—it’s somewhat misleading here. Autism adulthood and parenting are certainly discussed, but there is at least as much general material about neurodiversity, autism acceptance, and parenting and working with autistic children.

You can also listen to Springbrook’s Converge Autism Radio on Apple Podcasts and other platforms. See a list and listen to the available Converge Autism Radio podcasts here, which during the past two weeks have included an interview with the always dynamic Temple Grandin and an interesting program about aquatic therapy.
Fair warning: I had literally just opened up the package of a new headset, and I probably spend the first 10 minutes trying to figure out how it works, so hang in there—the sound gets better. The audio on the podcast also dips out when it’s getting simultaneous input from both the interviewer and me.
